After four rounds of the 2020/21 UEFA Europa league, four spots in the ‘Round of 32’ teams have been filled.

Hoffenheim


Five teams are eliminated from continental football competitions in Europe.

Group A

CSKA Sofia 0-1 Young Boys
CFR Cluj 0-2 Roma

Roma stayed unbeaten in Group A and advanced to the next round.
Two rounds left for Young Boys and Cluj to get a place in the final 32.
Cluj pick up points against Sofia in the next round will help them equal Young Boys in points accumulated; if the expected results are held from the performances so far.

Group B

Molde 0-3 Arsenal
Dundalk 1-3 Rapid Wien

Arsenal stayed perfect in Group B to clinch their spot in the final 32.
Molde and Rapid Wien are on 6 points with identical records.
Molde will have the opportunity to move to 9 points when they take on a winless Dundalk in the next round.
Rapid Wien will have a harder task against Arsenal.

Group C

Bayer Leverkusen 4-1 Hapoel Be’er Sheva
Nice 1-3 Slavia Prague

It’s two halves in Group C. Slavia Prague and Leverkusen are 6 points clear off Nice and Hapoel Be’er Sheva.
Slavia Prague takes on Hapoel Be’er Sheva and Leverkusen goes away to face Nice. A win for the group leaders will do the job for them to advance from Group C.

Rangers 2-2 Benfica

Rangers and Benifica lead Group D with 8 points each.
They both get a shot at the bottom two teams in the coming round. A win for the two teams will clinch a spot in the final 32.

PSV Eindhoven 3-2 PAOK
Granada 2-1 Omonia Nicosia

Granada are close to a spot in the round of 32. They lead Group E by 4 points.
The next round for Grana will be against their closest competition in the Group, PSV Eindhoven.
PSV doesn’t have enough room to afford dropping points, especially whe PAOK will be looking for a win against Omonia in Cyprus.

Napoli 2-0 Rijeka
AZ 0-0 Real Sociedad

Napoli have taken a narrow 2-point lead in Group F.
They must get a win against AZ in the next round to be safe up there.
Real Sociedad will go against a winless and eliminated Rijeka. As a home game, Real Sociedad will be expected to pick up the three points and hope the results from the ‘AZ vs Napoli’ match are favorable.

Braga 3-3 Leicester City
AEK Athens 0-3 Zorya


Leicester City are into the Round of 32 after coming from behind on three occasions to leave Braga with a point. Jamies Vardy came off the bench and ended up finding the late equalizing goal to grab his side the ticket to progress.
Braga should be able to get the job done in the coming round with against AEK in Athens.

Group H

Sparta Prague 4-1 Celtic
Lille 1-1 AC Milan


Celtc are out of the competition but the rest of the teams are in a tight battle to advance. There is a point between Lille, AC Milan, and Sparta Prague
AC Milan will take on already eliminated Celtic.
Lille will take on Sparta Prague. Assuming that AC Milan will come out on top at the San Siro, Lille and Sparta Prague can’t afford not to get a good result in their fixture.

Group I

Maccabi Tel Aviv 1-1 Villarreal
Qarabag 2-3 Sivasspor


A win against Sivasspor in the next round will send Villarreal to the Round of 32 from Group I.
Should Villarreal take a win at away against Sivasspor in the next round, Maccabi Tel Aviv will be through to the Round of 32 with an away win against already eliminated Qarabag.

LASK will be fighting for survival when they host Tottenham in the next round. Defeat for LASK is not an option.
With Ludogorets Razgrad already eliminated in Group J after defeats in all their fixtures, it is expected the Antwerp will pick up the needed win to get them in the Round of 32.

The top two teams in Group K will go at each other. A Dinamo Zagreb win will get them through to the next round and open up the group for the remaining three.

Hoffenheim moved on to the next round while Gent got knocked out.
Red Star Belgrade are likely to join Hoffenheim in the next round.
To do so, Red Star Belgrade will have to do what hasn’t been done yet in Group L, beat Hoffenheim; or hope for what hasn’t happened yet in Group L; Gent picking up a point/winning a game.
