BUNDESLIGA

Bayern Munich ends the year with 43 points at the midpoint of the season. They take a 9- point lead into the second half of the season.
Bayern Munich and Dortmund are the only teams to hit the 30 point mark.


Bayern gained three points and moved 9 points clear in the league because Dortmund suffered defeat in Berlin.

Freiburg moved two positions up to 3rd with a win against Leverkusen.
Leverkusen dropped a position down to 4th.
A draw with Monchengladbach dropped Hoffenheim a position down to 5th.

Frankfurt moved up to 6h with a win against Mainz, while Mainz dropped from three position’s down to 9th.

RB Leipzig fell from 9th to 10th after defeat to relegation zoned and recently-promoted Arminia Bielefeld.

STUTTGART 0-5 BAYERN MUNICH
Stuttgart had their chances to get on the scoreboard but was far from clinical in front of goal. A Serge Gnarbry hattrick and a brace from Lewandowski got Bayern the three points in Stuttgart.

ARMINIA BIELEFELD 2-0 BOCHUM
Arminia Bielefeld scored two at home to win their second match of the season. The result was Bochum’s first defeat in four matches.

MAINZ 4-0 HERTHA BERLIN
Mainz responded to their defeat against Bayern Munich was this win against a Hertha Berlin

WOLFSBURG 2-3 FC KOLN
Wolfsburg blew it in the end.
Anthony Modeste scored two goals as FC Koln came from a goal down on two occasions to get the win at Wolfsburg.
Modeste’s second goal won the match in the 89th minute; ending a 4- game losing streak in the league(6 in all competitions).

MONCHENGLADBACH 2-3 FRANKFURT
Monchengladbach lost their lead on two occasions to end up with a defeat at home; making it four defeats in a row.
Monchengladbach has conceded 3 or more goals in their last four matches. On the other end, it was back-to-back league wins for Mainz: from a 5-2 win at Frankfurt to a win here.

AUGSBURG 1-1 RB LEIPZIG
Daniel Caligiuri scored the equalizing goal in the 86th minute to deny RB Leipzig a successive victory in the league.

LEVERKUSEN 2- 2 HOFFENHEIM
Patrik Schick added two more goals to his tally but it was only good enough for a point against Hoffenheim.
When it seemed like Leverkusen had found a win to help amend their defeat against Frankfurt, they concede twice in the final 10 minutes of the regulation time. Two points dropped

DORTMUND 3- 0 GREUTHER FURTH
Donyell Molen entered the match in the 75th minute and added a goal to Haaland’s brace.
It took a game after their first win of the season for Greuther Furth to get back to a defeat.

UNION BERLIN 0-0 FREIBURG
The best Union Berlin and Freiburg could do after their defeats in the previous round was to split the points in a goalless draw


BAYERN 4- 0 WOLFSBURG
Bayern Munich closed out the year with a win and a clean sheet.
Robert Lewandowski capped the victory by scoring the final goal of the match to break Gerd Muller’s record of most Bundesliga gods scored in a single year. The goal was also Lewandowski’s 69th goal in all competitions this year.

BOCHUM 0-1 UNION BERLIN
Max Kruse get the winning goal in the 16th minute to get Union Berlin the three points.
A consecutive defeat for Bochum allows Union Berlin to open a 7- point lead.

FRANKFURT 1- 0 MAINZ
A narrow home victory allowed Frankfurt to stretch their winning streak to three matches.

GREUTHER FURTH 0-0 AUGSBURG
Greuther Furth managed a point against Augsburg.
Judging by how the season has gone so far, this is a massive drop of points for Augsburg.

HOFFENHEIM 1-1 MONCHENGLADBACH
Monchengladbach ended a four-game losing streak with a draw against a Hoffenheim side that arguably deserved more than a point.

RB LEIPZIG 0-2 ARMINIA BIELEFELD
Arminia Bielefeld made it two wins in a row and kept RB Leipzig without a win.
RB Leipzig has a win in their last six league games.

HERTHA BERLIN 3-2 DORTMUND
Marco Richter scored two [including the winning goal] for Hertha Berlin to come from a goal down in the first half to a win in the second half.
Dortmund falls further behind to allow Bayern’s grip on the title.

FREIBURG 2- 1 LEVERKUSEN
Patrik Schick went blank.
Three straight league games without a win for Leverkusen. 2 defeats and a draw
Freiburg got the win at home to move a point and position above Leverkusen.

FC KOLN 1- 0 STUTTGART
Stuttgart followed a thrashing against Bayern with defeat to FC Koln.
FC Koln win consecutively for the first time this season.
Anthony Modeste’s goal in the 89th minute got FC Koln the three points against Stuttgart.
