Points dropped against Cadiz stopped Real Madrid from running off with three points.
Seville with a game in hand took three points from Atletico Madrid to move closer to the top. The gap between Sevilla and Real Madrid is now 5 points with a possibility of allowing for a reduction to 2 points.
Real Betis suffered defeat but stayed put in third.
Recently-promoted Rayo Vallecano is fourth after taking a win against Alaves.
The defeat to Sevilla dropped Atletico Madrid a position down to 5th.
Barcelona wins at home to stay at 8th.

Levante remains without a win after suffering a narrow defeat at home against Valencia.

It was a deserved win that could have easily slipped away from Barcelona
In the end, Barcelona made it a more difficult win than it had to be by allowing Elche to come from two goals down to even the score in the 63rd minute.
Nico Gonzalez’s 85th-minute goal saved Barcelona from humiliation.

SEVILLA 2- 1 ATLETICO MADRID
Lucas Ocampo scored the winning goal in the 88th minute to get Sevilla the three points against an Atletico Madrid side that was coming from a defeat in the Madrid derby.

LEVANTE 3-4 VALENCIA
Goncalo Guedes and Carlos Soler got the goals for Valencia to deny Levante their first win of the season.
A two-goal lead was not enough to get Levante to their first win of the season

ATHLETIC CLUB 3-2 REAL BETIS
Both teams had a goal in the opening 6 minutes to get the game to a hot start.
Inaki Williams scored two goals; one to open the scoring, and the other to get Athletic Club even.
Oscar de Marcos scored the winning goal in the 89th minute.

GRANADA 4- 1 MALLORCA
Granada with a game in hand is now a point from Mallorca
Jorge Molina became the oldest player to score a hat-trick in Europe’s top 5 leagues when he scored the opening three goals in Granada’s 4- I win against Mallorca.

REAL MADRID 0-0 CADIZ
The first game in their last 11 competitive matches without a win for Real Madrid. A dominant performance didn’t get Real Madrid the three points they deserved to stretch their lead.
