Brest slipped to second place after drawing with Nice. Monaco regained the top spot after beating Marseille. Reims moved up two places to third after defeating Lyon, who dropped to the bottom of the table, replacing Clermont. Clermont earned a point at home against Paris Saint-Germain, who dropped two places to fifth. There are 27 rounds left in the season for teams to improve their positions.

After starting their season without a win in their first four games, Lens have followed their first league win of the season with another, a ‘1-0’ away win against Strasbourg.
Paris St. Germain was held to a goalless draw by winless Clermont Foot.

Marseille failed to find the result to bounce back from a Le Classique drubbing by Paris St. Germain, as Monaco recovered from a Derby de la Côte d’Azur setback against Nice.
Maghnes Akliouche’s brace helped Monaco to a 3-2 win over Marseille.

A ‘2-0’ defeat at Reims keeps Lyon without a league win after seven games, as Reims made it a consecutive league win.
Lille bounced back from the ‘2-1’ defeat to Reims with a ‘2-0’ win against Le Havre side coming off a ‘2-1’ win against a Clermont side that held Paris St. Germain to a goalless draw.

It was goalless between Nice and Brest. Nice remained unbeaten, Brest remained with the most points in the league.
Toulouse ended a run of six games in all competition (5 league games) without a win by handing Metz a ‘3-0’ defeat. Its back-to-back league defeat for Metz.
Akor Adams scored two goals in Montpellier’s 3-0 win in Lorient. Montpellier doubled their wins to two, leaving Loreint with a single league win and another defeat.

Rennes stayed unbetean by handing Nantes a third league defeat in a game that ended ‘3-1’. Deire Doure’s goal in the 73rd minute won the match of Rennes, while Mostafa Mohamed picked up two quick yellow cards in the 77th minute to leave Nantes with a numerical disadvantage.
