Napoli has won two consecutive league games, scoring four goals in each, while Lecce has gone from unbeaten to losing two in a row. Napoli followed up their 4-1 victory over Udinese with a 4-0 triumph at Lecce.

Two goals second-half goals allowed AC Milan to take all three points at home against Lazio. Christian Pulisic and Noah Okafor were the goalscorers.

Inter Milan needed the result to guarantee top spot after midweek defeat to Sassuolo. They achieved that against Salernitana. It took over an hour for the goals to arrive but Lisandro Martinez scored all the goals in Inter Milan’s 4-0 win over winless Salernitana.
Riccardo Orsolini’s hat-trick handed Bologna a win against Empoli, keeping Bologna unbeaten in the league since their opening day defeat, while sending Empoli back to a defeat after picking up their first win of the season against Salernitana in the previous round.

Albert Gudmundsson’s two goals were almost enough to get Genoa a win against Udinese, but a late own goal in the first minute of the final added minutes got Udinese an equalizing goal to avoid a home defeat. Udinese remains without a league win.

After both winning their midweek league games ‘1-0’, Atalanta and Juventus shared the points in a goalless draw. Atalanta looked more desperate for the win at home, but they couldn’t find the goal to erase the point between themselves and Juventus.

Roma’s only league win this season was a 7-0 thrashing of Empoli, arguably the worst team in the league. They had just suffered a 4-0 defeat to Genoa and were desperate for a win. A 2-0 victory over Frosinone provided some relief for a Roma side that has been struggling to pick up points in the league.

Sassuolo followed wins against Juventus and Inter Milna with a defeat at home to a Monza side that had been without a win in their last four games, and had one win all season (against Empoli). Lorenzo Colombo scored the only goal of the games to get Monza a ‘1-0’ win.

Torino and Hellas Verona shared the points in a goalless draw after both suffeing midweek defeats in the last rounds.

Fiorentina picked up their fourth win of the season to keep Cagliari without a win.
