The ‘top 4’ teams in the French Ligue 1 standings were all part of a ‘3-1’ score fixture, with Lens being the only side on the wrong end of the score.

Paris St. Germain’s lead grew to 8 points after a win over Lens.
Marseille took advantage of Lens’s defeat by using a win over Troyes to move into 2nd place and knock Lens down to 3rd. Monaco did the same with a win against Troyes to cut the gap between themselves and Lens to two points.

It’s three league wins in a row for Lyon after Logan Costa’s own-goal in the 88th minute gave them a 2-1 win in Toulouse.

Jeremy Doku’s first-half brace led Rennes to a 3-0 win over Reims. It was a win that ended a run of consecutive league defeats for Rennes while handing Reims a first defeat in 3 matches.

A 3-0 first-half lead against a 10-man Lens got Paris St. Germain the win to stretch their lead at the top of the league table.

Jonathan David and Remy Cabella scored a goal each within 2 minutes to get Lille from a losing position to a 2-1 win over Montpellier. Both teams were coming from a league defeat; Lille extended Montpellier’s losing streak to two matches.

Auxerre win three league matches in a row after two first-half goals got them to a 2-1 win over Nantes.
Nantes’ winless run in the league is extended to 8 matches as a result (5 defeats).

A 3-1 win over Ajaccio ended a run of consecutive league defeats for Strasbourg.
It’s Ajaccio’s 6th league defeat in a row.

Jeremy Le Douaron’s goal in the 12th minute gave Brest a 1-0 win at home over Nice.
Nice has now gone 6 league games without a win, suffering back-to-back defeats at the end of 4 draws.

A 10-man Clermont held on to a 2-1 first-half lead to beat Angers. Clermont had a fullback sent off on a red card in the added minutes of both halves. Neto Borges in the first half, Alidu Seidu in the second half.

Monaco were comfortable winners at home against Lorient. Wissam Ben Yedder was not on the score sheet but assisted two of the three goals in the 3-1 win.
