The Italian Serie A after 31 rounds. – Lazio closes in on Napoli but there isn’t time to crack a the title race open.

Just like In the previous round, the Milan teams (AC Milan and Inter Milan) dropped points, while the Roman teams (Lazio and Roma) picked up the maximum points.
Lazio is 14 points behind Napoli in the title race but 5 points clear of everyone else.

Napoli dropped points but they have the room to do so. Their lead in the title race was reduced to 14 points after a goalless draw with Hellas Verona.
Lazio became the second team to cross the 60-point mark after comfortably beating Spezia.
Roma got comfortable in third place with a comfortable win over Udinese.
The Roman teams were both 3-0 winners over the round.
AC Milan picked up a point, while Inter Milan was left pointless.

Sassuolo moved two positions up to 10th after beating Juventus.

The teams in the relegation zone avoided defeat; Sampdoria and Hellas Verona were involved in draws, and Cremonese were winners.

Lazio wins four games in a row.
Napoli was held to a goalless draw by relegation-zoned Hellas Verona.

Cyriel Dessers’s goal in the 4th minute was enough to get Cremonese a back-to-back league win through a 1-0 victory over Empoli. Cremonense’s 3rd league victory of the season.

Nicola Sansone put Bologna up in 33 seconds but Tommaso Pobega’s strike in the 40th minute got AC Milan even to end the first half on a 1-1 draw that held till the final whistle.

Inter Milan went 5 league matches without a win after Monza left San Siro with a ‘1-0’ win. It was the first win for Monza in 5 league matches. Monza will finish the season as winners against Inter Milan. The reverse fixture ended in a ‘2-2’ draw

Lecce picked up their first league point in 7 matches after losing a lead to settle for a 1-1 draw at home with bottom-tabled Sampdoria.

Salernitana’s 6th draw in a row after a 1-1 draw in Turin against Torino.

Juventus followed a 2-1 league defeat to Lazio with a 1-0 defeat to Sassuolo.
Gregoire Defrel scored the only goal of the match to get Sassuolo an unexpected win over Juventus.

Roma won their third league game in a row after a 3-0 win over Udinese. Edoardo Bove pounced on Bryan Cristante’s penalty miss after it struck the post to give Roma a first-half lead. Lorenzo Pellegrini doubled the lead after 10 minutes of the second half, and Tammy Abraham tripled the lead in the first minute of the final added time.
