In the final 10 minutes of regulation, Luton Town reduced the deficit to one goal, but they were unable to score the goal that would have kept them unbeaten in three consecutive league games. Cole Palmer scored two goals to help Chelsea secure a 3-2 victory over Luton Town.

A late penalty in the 89th minute was required for Aston Villa to secure a victory against Burnley, who were down to ten men from the 56th minute when Sander Berge received a second yellow card.
Brentford took the lead in the second minute but went into halftime down 2-1 and eventually lost 3-1 to Crystal Palace. The result was Crystal Palace’s first league win in nine games and Brentford’s fifth straight defeat.

Manchester City picked up a comfortable win over Sheffield United.
A ‘3-0’ score saw Wolves win three league games in a row as Everton lost three in a row.
Manchester United’s comeback against Aston Villa was followed by another league defeat, this time a 2-1 loss to Nottingham Forest. Nottingham Forest, on the other hand, earned back-to-back league wins for the first time in seven games.

Bukayo Saka’s fifth-minute goal gave Arsenal an early lead, but they ultimately fell to defeat. Fulham ended a three-game losing streak in the league with a 2-1 victory over an Arsenal team looking to get back on track in the title race. The result marked consecutive league losses for Arsenal, who followed up a 2-0 home defeat to West Ham with a 2-1 road loss to Fulham.
Tottenham rebounded from their midweek loss to Brighton with a victory over Bournemouth. The 3-1 defeat to Tottenham was Bournemouth’s first league loss in their last eight matches, as they had won seven games in that span.

Liverpool took a three-point lead in the title race with a 4-2 home victory over Newcastle United. The goals did not come until the second half, with Mohamed Salah scoring a brace, including one from the penalty spot after he had missed a penalty in the first half. The result marked Newcastle United’s third straight league defeat.
A goalless draw between West Ham and Brighton leaves three points between the two sides, with Brighton having been the dominant side but unable to find a winner.
