Napoli dropped two points in a goalless draw at home against Monza. Matteo Pessina had an opportunity from the penalty spot to win the game for Monza but ended up failing to do so.
It was two points dropped in Genoa for Inter Milan after Radu Dragusin scored in the 7th minute of added time, canceling Marko Arnautovic’s goal for Inter Milan and seeing Genoa end the first half even on the scoreboard. Genoa goes three games unbeaten, beating Sassuolo and holding the top two teams in the league standings to ‘1-1’ draws each.

Salernitana ended the year with their second league win of the season, following a draw against AC Milan with a ‘1-0’ win over Hellas Verona.
