Chris Wood scored a hattrick as Newcastle followed a defeat against Luton with another. Nottingham Forest came from behind to defeat Newcastle thanks to goals from Chris Wood. Alexander Isak gave Newcastle the lead with a penalty in the 23rd minute, but Wood equalized in first-half stoppage time. Wood then scored two more goals in the second half to give Nottingham Forest a 3-1 victory.

Bournemouth extended their unbeaten run in the league to seven games (six wins) with a fourth consecutive victory, a 3-0 win over Fulham. The result also marked three consecutive defeats in the league for Fulham, who had previously won back-to-back 5-0 games. Fulham have failed to score a goal in these defeats.

Luton Town secured a back-to-back win as two own goals helped them restore their lead and pick up a ‘3-2’ victory against Sheffield United.
Liverpool added three points to their tally, securing them with a ‘2-0’ win over Burnley.

Alejandro Garnacho’s two goals and Rasmus Hojbjerg’s first league goal for Manchester United helped them come back from a 2-0 first-half deficit to avoid a home defeat with a 3-2 win over Aston Villa.

Hee-Chan Hwang scored two goals, including the game-winner, for Wolves to secure a ‘4-1’ win at Brentford.
Noni Madueke converted from the penalty spot in the 89th minute to give Chelsea a ‘2-1’ home win over Crystal Palace.
Manchester City came from a goal down in the first half, scoring three in the second to beat Everton.

Tottenham halved the deficit in the final 10 minutes of regulation time, but that was the best they could do after going 4 goals down to Brighton. Tottenham’s winning streak in the league ended at three games after a ‘4-2’ defeat to Brighton. The result was also Brighton’s first league win in three games.

West Ham United followed a ‘2-0’ win against Manchester United with another against Arsenal. Three massive points were dropped at home for Arsenal as they lose their spot at the top of the league table.

The only positional changes in the bottom half of the table was Everton dropping a position to 17th, while Nottingham Forest moved up a position to 16th.
