Barcelona is 11 points clear with 13 more rounds of the season left.
There wasn’t a positional change in the top half of the table.
The top three teams were all winners and moved away from 4th place Real Sociedad.
Real Sociedad dropped points in a 1-1 draw at Mallorca but three points remained between them in Real Betis because Betis also dropped points in a 1-1 draw at Villarreal.

Sevilla moved up four positions to 13th with a win that pushed Almeria a position down to 19th.
Valencia moved out of the relegation zone to 17th with a narrow win against Osasuna.
Getafe joined Almeria and Elche in the relegation zone.

Enes Unal scored an equalizing goal from the penalty spot on two occasions to get Getafe a point at Cadiz. Both teams ended the game with a man sent off on a red card.

After dropping points and failing to win their last three matches, Real Madrid came from a goal down to a needed win against Espanyol. Joseuly scored in the 8th minute to give Espanyol a lead to protect but it was always going to be difficult against a hungry Real Madrid. Goals from Vinicius Junior and Eder Militao sent Real Madrid into the break with a 2-1 lead. Marco Asensio entered the game as a substitute in the 72nd minute and scored the final goal of the game in the 3rd minute of stoppage time to make it a 3-1 win for Real Madrid.

Iago Aspas scored twice in Celta Vigo’s 3-0 win over Rayo Vallecano.

An early lead in the third minute did not carry Real Sociedad to a win at Mallorca.

Sevilla had to come from a goal down in the opening 2 minutes to bounce back from a 6-1 defeat against Atletico Madrid with a 2-1 win at home over fellow relegation-threatened Almeria.

Yeremi Pino’s goal saved Villarreal from a home defeat against Real Betis.

Barcelona narrowly escapes with three points against Athletic Club. A goal from Raphinha at the end of the first half saw Barcelona pick up a third straight ‘1-0’ win since their ‘1-0’ defeat against Almeria.
