Napoli’s lead grows by three points to 68 after picking up a 2-0 win over Atalanta to take advantage of Inter Milan’s defeat at Spezia in the opening round.
Lazio couldn’t get a win at Bologna to take full advantage of Inter Milan’s defeat.
Lazio remains in third place but a point from inter Milan’s tally.
AC Milan couldn’t get the victory to take advantage of the points Lazio dropped but they moved up into the ‘top 4 after a 1-1 draw with Salernitana in the final match of the round.
Roma dropped a position down to 5th after coming up at the wrong end of a 4-3 score with Sassuolo.
Juventus moved 4 points away from 6th place after a win against Sampdoria.
Napoli was the only winning team in the top 7 teams in the league standings.

There were no positional changes in the bottom 7.
Sampdoria, Cremonese, and Hellas Verona reside in the relegation zone, with Hellas Verona the only side to pick up a point.

A 2-1 defeat against Spezia was Inter Milan’s second league defeat in their last three matches. It was Spezia’s first league win in their last eight league matches. Inter Milan was denied a first-half lead when Lautaro Martinez’s penalty was saved by Bartlomiej Dragowski.

Udinese picked up their first win in 7 matches through a 54th-minute goal from Rodrigo Becao against Empoli.

The goals came in the second half with Khavicha Kvaratskhelia scoring the opening goal in the 60th minute for Napoli to bounce back from last round’s defeat against Lazio with a 2-0 win against an Atalanta side that is now 4 straight league games without a win; 3 defeats.

It ended goalless in Bologna, as Lazio dropped points for the first time in four matches and Bologna partially recovered from defeat at Torino in the last round.

Lecce lose three games in a row, while Torino made it a consecutive league win. Torino followed a 1-0 win against Bologna with a 2-0 defeat at Lecce.

Fiorentina has 7 straight wins in all competitions. Their latest result is a 2-0 away victory over Cremonese.

Roma ended up on the wrong end of an exciting 7-goal game at home against Sassuolo. Armand Lauriente scored two goals in the opening 20 minutes to set Sassuolo on track to a win in Rome. Nicola Zalewski pulled a goal back in the 26th minute but the first half ended with Roma down a man and from a red card, and down two goals from the resulting penalty. (3-1). Dybala scored the first goal of the second half in the 50th minute to reduce the gap down to a goal but Andrea Pinamonti restored Sassuolo’s lead to two goals in the 75th minute. Georginio Wijnaldum scored the final goal of the game in the fourth minute of the final stoppage time for Roma to lose 4-3 at home. Roma went from beating Juventus in Turin to a home defeat against Sassuolo. A 2-0 defeat against Napoli has been Sassuolo’s only loss in their last 8 league matches (5 wins).

Dusan Vlahovic could’ve killed off the game in the 69th minute but missed the penalty to do so. Adrien Rabiot scored two goals as Juventus follow their defeat against Roma with a 4-2 win over Sampdoria. An exciting first half saw Sampdoria come from two goals down to see the teams go into the break on a 2-2 draw. Adrien Rabiot scored his second goal of the match to restore the lead for Juventus in the 64th minute.
Sampdoria is without a win in their last 11 matches (10 league games, 7 league defeats).
