OUR FINAL PERFORMANCE INDEX RANKING OF 2023.

Tottenham entered the ‘top 20,’ moving up 2 positions to 20th.
West Ham United ascended 4 positions to 14th.
Bayer Leverkusen held on to the top spot, with Bayern Munich following in second, and Real Madrid completing the podium in third.
Manchester City’s season hasn’t been as splendid as it was last season, but they come in 4th.

Inter Milan is the current title favorite in Serie A, securing the 5th position.
Liverpool moved up a position to 6th, while Atletico Madrid did the same to reach 7th.
Arsenal dropped two spots to 8th.
Paris St. Germain comes in 9th and is once again the favorite for the league title in France.
RB Leipzig holds onto the 10th position.
Brighton moved up to 15th from 17th.
Roma climbed to 18th from 20th.
Aston Villa dropped two positions to 16th.
Stuttgart also dropped two positions to 17th.

 

 

DEFENDING CHAMPIONS

Three of the seven reigning champions are in the top 10, and the number goes up to four when we extend it to the top 20. Bayern Munich (2nd), Manchester City (4th), and Paris St. Germain (9th) are the three in the top 10, while Barcelona, coming in 12th, is the reason why there are four in the top 20.

The worst-performing member of the reigning league champions is Benfica, ranking 54th, four spots better than the best-ranked of the promoted clubs (Heidenheim). Feyenoord is 25th, and Napoli comes in 32nd.
