AC Milan held on to 4th place despite losing against Udinese.
Despite the point deduction, Juventus is 7 points away from Champions League football.

Udinese moved up two positions to 8th.

Four wins in a row for Sassuolo after Domenico Berardi scored the only goal of the match to get his side a win over a Spezia side that came to this fixture from a 2-1 win against Inter Milan.

Atlanta wins their first league game in five matches by coming from a gal down to avoid defeat at home to Empoli. The 2-1 score was the 4th straight defeat for an Empoli side that is without a win in their last 8 matches.

A 3-1 defeat against Udinese marked the third straight league game without a win for AC Milan (2 defeats).
The first half ended with Zlatan Ibrahimovic scoring from the penalty spot in the 4th minute of the stoppage time to get AC Milan level after Roberto Pereyra had given Udinese a 9th-minute lead. Ibrahimovic’s equalizing goal didn’t last long enough to get AC Milan to the second half, as Beto scored to quickly restore the lead for 10-man Udinese’s lead just about a minute later. Udinese played the entirety of the second half with a numerical disadvantage but found the back of the net, while AC Milan couldn’t.

Roma sees defeat in Derby della Capitale, Inter Milan sees defeat in Derby d’Italia.
Roma and Inter Milan entered the derby on the back of the league defeat and left on the losing end of a ‘1-0’ score.


Mattia Zaccagni scored the only goal of the game in the 65th minute for Lazio to win the Rome derby against a 10-man Roma. (Roger Ibanez picked up a second yellow card in the 32nd minute). A back-to-back ‘1-0’ derby win for Lazio. A league double.

Filip Kostic’s goal in the 23rd minute was enough to get Juventus a win in San Siro against Inter Milan. A league double for Juventus.

Both games ended with a player on each team getting a red card: Danilo D’Ambrosio (Inter Milan) and Leandro Paredes (Juventus) Adam Marusic (Lazio) and Bryan Cristante (Roma) were all shown a read cared in the 7th minute of the final added time.
