Another El Clasico win has Barcelona 12 points clear in the La Liga title race with 12 rounds left of the season.
Atletico Madrid is now 5 points off Real Madrid.
The race for Champions League qualification is getting tighter as the gap between the top two is bigger than the gap between 2nd and 5th.

There were no positional changes made in the ‘top 6’.
Athletic Club moved up two positions to 7th.
Rayo Vallecno dropped a position to 8th.
Celta Vigo entered the top half of the standings; moving from 11th to 9th.
Osasuna dropped two positions to the middle of the standings.

Elche is unmoved at the bottom of the table.

Athletic Club win their first league game in 5 attempts after a 3-1 away win over Valladolid.

Three draws in a row for Cadiz after Almeria found a late equalizer through a penalty kick to get a 1-1 draw.
Gonzalo Melero converted a penalty 6 minutes after regulation time to get Almeria a deserved point.

Isi Palazon missed a penalty after a clever attempt. The 41st-minute penalty miss ended up costing Rayo Vallecano 2 points at home against Girona.
Viktor Tsigankov scored two goals (both equalizing goals) to get Girona a point from a 2-2 draw with Rayo Vallecano.

Espanyol loses three games in a row after a 3-1 defeat at home against Celta Vigo.

Atletico Madrid extended a good run of results with a 3-0 win against a struggling Valencia.
Atletico Madrid’s only league defeat of the calendar year has been against the league leaders (Barcelona).

Real Betis is unbeaten in their last 6 league matches but used this ‘1-0’ win over Mallorca to end a streak of two draws in the streak. Borja Iglesias’s goal handed Mallorca their 3rd defeat in four straight games without a win.

Real Sociedad’s first win in over a month game in a 2-0 win over Elche. Takefusa Kubo and Ander Barrenetxea scored the goals to get Real Sociedad the three points.

Back-to-back defeat in the league for Osasuna after conceding three goals at home to hand Villarreal the three points.
Jose Morales replaced injured Gerard Moreno in the 35th minute and scored two late goals (85th and 90th) to add to Samuel Chuwueze’s 14th-minute game-winner.

A late defensive error allowed Enes Unal to double Getafe’s lead in the final kick of the match for a 2-0 win against a Sevilla side that has a single win from their last six league matches.

Barcelona amended their defeat in the reverse fixture as they won a third straight El Clasico by coming from a goal down (own goal) with a goal at the end of each half to beat Real Madrid and move 12 points clear in the La Liga title race.
