Defeat at home to Rennes narrowed Paris St. Germain’s lead to 7 points after Marseille used the opportunity to pick up a win at Reims.
There were no positional changes in the top 7 spots in the league standings, with Paris St. Germain and Nice being the only two in the 7 to end the round without a victory.
Nice dropped points in a ‘1-1’ draw with Lorient, while Paris St. Germain lost ‘2-0’ to Rennes.

Lyon have dropped 6 of 9 points from their last three games. It’s three draws in a row for Lyon after a 1-1 score with Nantes.

After ending a run of three league defeats with a win at Angers, Toulouse was back to a defeat in a 2-0 home loss against a Lille side that is unbeaten since their defeat against Paris St. Germain (4 matches).
Two goals in the dying minutes of the game handed Lyon the three points. Lyon has 2 wins and 2 draws in their last 4 league matches.

Lens made it a consecutive league victory by following a 4-0 win over Clermont Foot with a 3-0 home win against Angers.
In Ligue 1, Angers have suffered defeat in their last 5 matches without scoring a goal in their last three. They don’t have a win from their last 20 fixtures, with 18 defeats in that run. Relegation is calling loud and clear.

Monaco wins their first game in four matches through a 2-0 victory at Ajaccio.

Habibou Diallo could’ve had two goals if he converted his penalty kick in the 21st minute, but he made up for it by scoring the insurance goal to get Strasbourg to the three points through a 2-0 home win against Auxerre.

Elye Wahi scored two in the second half to get Montpellier from a losing position to a win over Clermont Foot.
Montpellier is unbeaten in their last six matches (5 wins).

Rennes went to Paris and came out with three points from a 2-0 win over Paris St. Germain.

Alexis Sanchez’s two goals got Marseille a win in Reims after Folarin Balogun had given the home team a lead in the 13th minute.
