Raúl García scored the game-winner at the death to secure three points at home for Osasuna, at Rayo Vallecano’s expense. It marked Osasuna’s first league win in seven games, extending Vallecano’s winless run in the league to seven games. The result moved Osasuna a point away from equalizing with Vallecano.

Despite being reduced to 10 men after Iago Aspas was sent off in the 80th minute, Celta Vigo held on to their 1-0 lead over Granada thanks to Jorgen Larsen’s goal in the 20th minute. Both teams had won one of their opening 16 league games of the season, but Celta Vigo doubled their tally with this victory.

Oihan Sancet missed a penalty in the 36th minute that could have given Athletic Club the lead in the first half. However, the home side scored twice in the second half to secure a 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid. It was a deserved victory for Athletic Club.

Excluding their Copa del Rey wins, Sevilla has not won in their last 17 matches. After being eliminated from continental football in midweek, finishing last in their Champions League group, Sevilla added another defeat to their collection by conceding three goals at home to Getafe without a response. A penalty in the fifth minute gave Getafe the lead through Borja Mayoral, and Jaime Mata doubled the advantage in the 37th minute to set them on course for a 3-0 victory in Seville over Sevilla.

After a Catalan derby defeat to Girona, a draw in Valencia was the best Barcelona could muster. Hugo Guillamon scored an equalizing goal in the 70th minute to secure a point for Valencia at home against Barcelona. The result also marks the third straight game without a win for Barcelona.

Almeria avoided defeat at home but remained without a league win after a goalless draw with Mallorca.

Real Sociedad maintained the three-point gap between themselves and Real Betis after playing out a goalless draw with them.

Jude Bellingham added to his goal tally, bringing it up to 13 goals when he opened the
scoring in the 25th minute, allowing Real Madrid to bounce back from a draw with Real Betis in the last round with a more comfortable ‘4-1’ win against Villarreal. The downside to this game was David Alaba’s ACL injury that is going to sideline him for the rest of the season.

Artem Dovbyk scored twice to sandwich Cristian Portu’s goal for Girona to keep their two-point lead in the title race with a ‘3-0’ victory over Alaves in the final match of the round.
