It looked like Monza had found a way to come from behind to keep a point when Valentin Carboni scored in the 2nd minute of added time to equalize the score. However, Juventus, within 2 minutes, restored their goal lead to pick up the maximum points on the road through a 2-1 win over Monza. Adrien Rabiot gave the visitors the lead in the 12th minute after Dusan Vlahovic had failed to convert from the penalty spot a minute earlier. Rabiot once again played an instrumental role in the game-winning goal when he created the chance and assisted Federico Gatti to score the 90+4′ winner. This was Monza’s first defeat in five league games, while Juventus goes 9 straight games unbeaten, with only one defeat all season.

After becoming the first team to lose a league game to Salernitana this season in the last round, Lazio picked up a narrow win against a Cagliari side hovering above the relegation zone to help make amends.

An early goal in the 8th minute, scored by Pedro Rodriguez, was enough to get Lazio a win at home against Cagliari. Three points for Lazio but nothing impressive when you consider that Cagliari is relegation-threatened as things stand, and they played over half of the game with a numerical disadvantage after Antoine Makoumbou was sent off on a red card in the 27th minute.

Luka Jovic gave AC Milan the lead at the end of the first half, and Christian Pulisic doubled it with the winning goal five minutes after the restart. AC Milan went three goals up before Frosinone got a consolation goal. The score might make AC Milan look more dominant than the game would actually paint them to be.

A late penalty in the dying minutes of the game allowed Roberto Piccoli to score the equalizing goal for Lecce, preventing a home defeat to Bologna. Considering the form and balance of play, it was more of a denial of a win for Bologna.

After winning their first league game of the season, Salernitana suffered a setback as Fiorentina hammered them 3-0.

Tomas Henry came on in the 84th minute when Hellas Verona was down a goal to Udinese, and he scored the equalizer for his team in the 7th minute of added time to earn them a point in a 3-3 draw. The draw was a fair result.

Roma came back from a goal down to defeat 10-man Sassuolo 2-1. Sassuolo have only won one of their last eight league games, against Empoli.

Inter Milan win in Naples to keep top spot. The league leaders kept their 2-point lead in the title race by picking up three points through a ‘3-0’ win, while handing the reigning champions their fourth league defeat of the season.

On loan from Atalanta to Torino, Duvan Zapata scored twice to help Torino secure a 3-0 win over Atalanta. The result moved Torino to within a point of their opponents.
