A late goal scored in each half handed Las Palmas a 2-0 home win against Getafe. Getafe played almost the entirety of the second half with a man down after defender Omar Alderete was dismissed on a red card in the 48th minute.

Cristian Stuani entered the game in the 75th minute and scored two goals in the final 10 minutes of regulation time, helping Girona avoid defeat at home by coming from a goal down to a 2-1 victory over Valencia. It was the result Girona was looking for to bounce back from a 1-1 draw against Athletic Club in the last round. For Valencia, this marked three league games without a win, including two defeats.

The Williams brothers (Iñaki and Nico) were both on the scoresheet in the second half to propel Athletic Club to a 4-0 win against Rayo Vallecano.

It was a comfortable game and an expected win for Real Madrid at home against a Granada side in the relegation zone. Brahim Diaz scored the game-winning goal in the first half, and Rodrygo scored the insurance goal in the second half to give Real Madrid a 2-0 win. Rodrygo has now scored in each of his last 5 games for Real Madrid (7 goals).

Moi Gomez’s goal in the opening two minutes helped Osasuna secure a point at home against Real Sociedad.

Although Real Betis played a man down after Hector Bellerin was sent off in the 27th minute, Almeria were unable to take advantage and pick up their first league win of the season. The match ended in a goalless draw.

It’s eight league games in a row without a win for Sevilla, and they were saved from defeat in this round thanks to VAR disallowing Villarreal’s goal. Sevilla took the lead in the 75th minute, and were back on even terms about a minute later. Kike Salas scored Sevilla’s goal in the 75th minute, and Jose Luis Morales scored the equalizing goal for Villarreal right from the restart.

Joao Felix scored the only goal of the match to give his loan club a win over his parent club. Barcelona beat Atletico Madrid 1-0 to move three points ahead, though Atletico Madrid has a game in hand.
