Matches

I would’t miss out on these matches if I was you. – The Weekend Bangers.

November 2, 2019
Bournemouth vs Manchester United (English Premier League)
Goal-difference is what is holding Manchester United above Bournemouth in the current Premier League standings.
Manchester United and Bournemouth make up 50% of the teams in the Premier League table that are on 13 points after 10 matches played. A winner in this fixture could see themselves in the top quarter of the league standings at the end of the round.

Roma vs Napoli (Italian Serie A)
A finish in the ‘top four’ is on the line for Roma and Napoli.
Roma will be looking for their third win in a row, while Napoli is looking to avoid a third draw in a row.

Borussia Dortmund vs Wolfsburg (German Bundesliga)
Borussia Dortmund must win at home to get into the ‘top four’ and allow the possibility of finishing the round at the top of the table.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Borussia Monchengladbach (German Bundesliga)
Borussia Monchengladbach must win at Leverkusen to stay top of the league table.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Bayern Munich (German Bundesliga)
Bayern Munich must win in Frankfurt to potentially regain the top spot in the league.

Manchester City vs Southampton (English Premier League)
Southampton received their biggest league defeat after a ‘9-0’ loss at home to Leicester City in the last round. Now they have to go away against a Manchester City team that is notorious for piling goals on teams that can’t fight back.
We’ve seen Manchester City win ‘8-0’ at home this season. Could another record be broken?

Arsenal vs Wolves (English Premier League)
After blowing a lead at home (and other dramatic events), Arsenal is in need of a positive result to bring back the good mood to the Emirates Stadium.

Marseille vs Lille (French Ligue 1)
With only 2 points separating the two teams, Marseille will be hoping to bounce back from defeat with a win that will allow them to leapfrog Lille in the league standings.

Toulouse vs Lyon (French Ligue 1)
After ending a run of winless matches in the league in the last round through a ‘2-0’ win at home against Met, Lyon will be looking to get themselves into the top half of the league table with a road win against Toulouse. A point is what separates the two teams.

Torino vs Juventus (Italian Serie A)
Predictions might be easy to do but it’s still a Turin Derby. For Juventus, it is a must-win to keep their pole position in the league, and for Torino, it is a must-win to end a run of 5 matches without a victory in the league.

Sevilla vs Atletico Madrid (Spanish La Liga)
Goal-difference is what has Atletico Madrid in a Champions League qualifying spot in the league standing. Tied at 20 points on the league table, Sevilla could use the backing of the home supporters to open a 3-point gap between themselves and Atletico Madrid.

November 3, 2019
Bordeaux vs Nantes (FrenchLigue 1)
Nantes will guarantee that they remain the closest to the top of the standings if they can get a win at Bordeaux.

Everton vs Tottenham (English Premier League)
Both teams haven’t had the consistent run they’d hope. After suffering defeat in Liverpool in the last round of matches, Tottenham will return to try their luck against an Everton side that was also beaten in the last round by Brighton.

AC Milan vs Lazio(Italian Serie A)
Mid-table AC Milan will be hoping to win their back-to-back home matches to get closer to the top end of the league table when Lazio pays a visit to the San Siro. Lazio is in search of their 3rd-straight league win.

Granada vs Real Sociedad(Spanish La Liga)
With only Barcelona and Real Madrid above them in the standings, newly-promoted Granada is doing better than expected. Granada is in a 3-way tie in points with Atletico Madrid and Sevilla (20).
Staying in the title race will require Granada to get the maximum points against Real Sociedad that is just a point behind (19).

Saint-Etienne vs Monaco (French Ligue 1)
Tied on 15 points. The most successful team in the French League (Saint-Etienne) will take on a team that has been expected to be a contender in recent years (Monaco)
