German Bundesliga after 20 rounds: Union Berlin is not letting Bayern Munich get away.

A point remains between the top two after both Bayern Munich and Union Berlin found the win to firmly hold on to their positions in the title race.
Dortmund stayed close behind the top two with a win at Bremen.
RB Leipzig dropped out of the ‘top 4’.
Freiburg moved up to 4th with a win against relegation-threatened Stuttgart.

Schalke is held goalless at home after having a couple of goals chopped off by VAR.
Maximilian Arnold would’ve given Wolfsburg an early lead and a win against Schalke if he had found the target in the 9th minute from the penalty spot.
Wolfsburg is without a win after the ‘11-0’ aggregate win against Freiburg and Hertha Berlin.

A 3-0 win against Bochum was a back-to-back league win for Bayern Munich after three league games ended in ‘1-1’ draws.

Freiburg recovered from going down a goal in the first half with two goals in the second half to secure the maximum points at home against Stuttgart.

Leverkusen ended a run of consecutive defeats through a ‘3-1’ win over a struggling Hoffenheim side.

Mainz opened a five-point gap on Augsburg, with Jae-Sung Lee scoring two goals in a ‘3-1’ win.

Jamie Bynoe Gittens entered the match in the 66th minute and scored the opening goal of the match in the 67th minute to get Dortmund on course to a ‘2-0’ win at Bremen.

Just as they did in the reverse fixture and also on their previous visit to Leipzig, Union Berlin picked up a 2-1 win to open a 6-point gap on RB Leipzig.
Union Berlin comes from behind to get a ‘2-1’ win at Leipzig and keep tabs on Bayern Munich. RB Leipzig hadn’t suffered a defeat in any competition since September 17, 2022 – 18 matches that include 12 league games; of which they won 8.

Monchengladbach has dropped points in their last two league matches, despite playing against sides in a relegation battle. (Schalke and Hertha Berlin).
Hertha Berlin recovered after going down a goal in the 17th minute to end a run of 4 straight league defeats through a 4-1 win against Monchengladbach.

Ellyes Skhiri added two goals to Timo Hubers’s to get FC Koln three points at home with a second half ‘3-0’ win over Frankfurt.
