Marseille and Monaco close in on Paris St. Germain.
Lens dropped a position down to 4th after a defeat at Lyon.
Monaco moved up a position with their win against Paris St. Germain.
Marseille stayed in second place but cut the gap at the top to 5 points with a win at Clermont.

Lille moved up a position to 5th.
Rennes dropped down a position to 6th.

Angers and Auxerre shared the points in a 1-1 draw to remain as the bottom two.
There were no positional changes at the bottom five.

Four successive wins in a streak of 5 wins and a draw for Nice to go 6 matches unbeaten after a 3-0 win against Ajaccio.
It only took three minutes for Dante to open the scoring to give Nice a lead that held until Billal Brahmi entered the match in the 66th minute and scored from a superb strike to double Nice’s lead just three minutes later. Billal outdid himself with his second goal of the match when he scored the third goal of the match in the 90th minute from a more acute angle and further distance.

PSG followed a Coupe de France exit at Marseille with a 3-1 thrashing at Monaco.
Aleksandr Golovin gave Monaco the lead in just 4 minutes. Wissam Ben Yedder doubled the lead in the 18th minute and ensured the win with another goal in the first half added minutes to restore Monaco’s two-goal lead after Paris got a goal back through Wareen Zaire-Emery in the 39th minute.

Marseille is back to a win after losing their first league match in 10 games when they fell 3-1 at home to Nice in the previous round. Alexis Sanchez scored both goals to get Marseille a win against Clermont.

A healthy lead in the first half got Toulouse to another 3-1 win. Toulouse followed a 3-1 win against Riems in the Coupe de France with another in the league against Rennes.

Angers and Auxerre share the points.
Matthis Abline could’ve sealed a late win for Auxerre if he had converted his penalty in 90+3’ minute.

Jonathan David’s first-half brace secured a consecutive league victory for Lille in a 1-0 win against Strasbourg.

An own goal in the fourth minute set Montpellier on to a win to end a run of two league defeats while handing Brest a defeat to end a run of two draws.

A’4-0’ defeat at Reims was Troyes’s sixth league game in a row without a victory. (5 defeats and a draw). Reims won each half 2-0.

Ludovic Blas scored the only goal of the game in the 66th minute to get Nantes a back-to-back win. Nantes followed the defeat against Marseille with a 1-0 win against Lorient.

Lens is without a league win in their last four matches after a 2-1 defeat at Lyon. (2 defeats and 2 draws)
