AC Milan vs Torino
(ITALIAN SERIE A)
AC Milan will try Torino for a result that will see them avoid a 4th straight league defeat in a run of 7 competitive matches without a win. AC Milan is coming from their second Milan Derby defeat in a run that cost them a place in the Coppa Italia, the Supercoppa Italiana final, and 13 league points dropped from a possible 15.
Apart from being 2-1 winners in the reverse fixture, Torino has also gone to San Siro and knocked out AC Milan in the Coppa Italia. This meeting of the two clubs is for AC Milan to set things straight by returning the favor.

February 11.

West Ham United vs Chelsea
(ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE)
Chelsea will be searching for an away victory to put an end to consecutive goalless draws in the league. They will attempt to do so against a West Ham side that is fighting for the points to move further from the relegation zone.

Arsenal vs Brentford
(ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE)
How will Arsenal bounce back after suffering their second league defeat of the season in a shocking 1-0 loss against relegation-zoned Everton? The expectation is that Arsenal will set things right at home, but they will be up against a Brentford side that is unbeaten in their last 9 league matches.

RB Leipzig vs Union Berlin
(GERMAN BUNDESLIGA)
Union Berlin is chasing Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga title. There is just a point between the two clubs.
With Dortmund in a position to take advantage of the results, Union Berlin and RB Leipzig are both in need of a win to guarantee their league position at the end of the round.
RB Leipzig is just a win away from equaling Union Berlin’s point tally. Union Berlin won 2-1 in both the reverse fixture and their recent visit to Leipzig. It’s up to RB Leipzig to put a stop to consecutive league defeats against Union Berlin.

Lazio vs Atalanta
(ITALIAN SERIE A)
Lazio and Atalanta come to this round after dropping points in away in the last round. Atalanta was beaten by Sassuolo (1-0), while Lazio could only pick up a point against Hellas Verona (1-1). With just a point separating the two, the winner of this fixture will end the round in the ‘top four’ of the Serie A league standings.
AC Milan is in a position to take advantage of the result from this fixture.

Monaco vs Paris St. Germain
(FRENCH LIGUE 1)
After their Coupe de France exit, the league title is the only domestic target left for Paris St. Germain. The results from the last round allowed Paris St. Germain to pull 8 points clear in the league but Monaco is unbeaten in their last 7 league matches (5 wins).
Monaco will host a Paris St. Germain side that is trying to pull further into the lead.
The reverse fixture was a ‘1-1’ draw, but Paris St. Germain lost ‘3-0’ on their last visit to Monaco.

Flamengo vs Al Ahly
(CLUB WORLD CUP) – Third-place playoff

Al Hilal vs Real Madrid
(CLUB WORLD CUP) – Final
Real Madrid is heading to their 5th Club World Cup final with the expectation to win it for the 5th time by beating Al-Hilal.
Real Madrid hadn’t been in the competition since 2018, but Al-Hilal finished 4th in 2021, and 2019.

February 12.

Leeds United vs Manchester United
(ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE)
Will the backing of home supporters help Leeds United hold on to a lead if they get one?
Manchester United came from two goals down to avoid a home defeat in the league against Leeds United on Wednesday. The two meet this Sunday for the reverse fixture.

Manchester City vs Aston Villa
(ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE)
The last time Aston Villa came to the Etihad Stadium, Manchester City had to recover from 2 goals down to get a 3-2 win to secure the Premier League title on the final day of the season. After an away defeat to Tottenham, Manchester City will be needing a home against Aston Villa to keep up the pace with Arsenal.
The reverse fixture ended in a ‘1-1’ draw.

Lyon vs Lens
(FRENCH LIGUE 1)
Three league matches without a win have dragged Lens further away from the top of the league. It won’t be an easy task but Lens will be looking for a win in Lyon.
Lyon is unbeaten in their last three matches but the wins have been away from home.

Villarreal vs Barcelona
(SPANISH LA LIGA)
While Real Madrid is contesting for the Club World Cup, Barcelona can use a win against Villarreal to widen the point margin in the La Liga title race.

Sporting CP vs Porto
(PORTUGUESE PRIMEIRA LIGA)
Benfica is running off with the league title as things stand in the Portuguese Primera Liga but the direct qualification to the UEFA Champions League spot is still a target for both Sporting CP and Porto.
Porto is the current occupant of the position but Sporting CP can cut the gap between the two clubs to 4 points with a home win.
Braga is in a position to take advantage of a Porto defeat with a win against Maritimo. Recent results and current standing will tip Porto as the favorite in this O Classico.

February 13.

Liverpool vs Everton
(ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE)
A Merseyside derby with both Liverpool and Everton punching below their expectation. Liverpool is sitting mid-table after 20 matches played, while Everton is in the relegation zone after playing 21 matches.
It was a goalless draw in the reverse fixture but Liverpool will be hoping that home advantage will carry them to a win.
Liverpool is without a league win in four matches and is coming from a defeat against Wolves. Everton ended a run of eight league matches without a surprise win against Arsenal in the last round. If Everton can beat the team at the top of the table, they should do okay with the team in the middle. Liverpool can’t afford another bad result, but a Merseyside derby defeat won’t be a surprise to many.
