Montpellier made it a competitive end when they reduced Monaco’s 3-0 lead to a goal lead with 20+ minutes left to play. It ended as another win for Monaco; 5 games made up of 4 wins and a draw.

Niclas Eliasson scored a quick brace in the second half to hand Nimes a win at Marseille. Had he converted from the penalty spot, Florian Thauvin could have sent Marseille to the half time break with the lead.

Paris St. Germain got the three points at Angers from a narrow 1-0 win.

Rennes picked up 3 points at Brest to make it 7 straight league games unbeaten.

Gael Kakuta scored from the penalty spot for Lens to leave Nantes with a point. Had Kakuta been clinical with his first penalty of the match, he would have been the one to open scoring and possibly have sent Lens home with all three points.

Bordeaux scored three in the second half to leave Nice with all three points.

Ryad Boudebouz’s missed penalty in the 10th minute became an expensive error when Ludovic Ajorque scored the only goal of the match in the 29thminute for Strasbourg to beat Saint-Etienne and open a 4-point gap between the two sides.

Jonathan David scored in the additional minute to complete the comeback for Lille. Lille beat Reims.

Lyon dropped points in consecutive games after a shock defeat at home to Metz. Aaron Iseka scored the only goal of the game in the 90th-minute for Metz to win their first in four league matches.
