Bayern Munich secured a 3-0 victory over Hoffenheim thanks to two goals from Jamal Musiala and one from Harry Kane, who scored his 22nd league goal of the season. The win marked the celebration of the life and passing of Franz Beckenbauer.

A dramatic finish to the game saw Exeguiel Paciaos scored the only goal of the game in the 4th minute of the final added time (90+4’) to get Bayer Leverkusen a 1-0 win at Augsburg. The result kept Leverkusen unbeaten and top of the Bundesliga standings. It was against the run of play, but Frankfurt picked up three points from a 1-0 win over RB Leipzig. Ansgar Knauff’s goal in the 7th minute gave Frankfurt a win in Leipzig.

Arguably against the run of play, Eintracht Frankfurt picked up three points from a 1-0 win over RB Leipzig. Ansgar Knauff scored in the seventh minute to give Frankfurt the win in Leipzig.

It was a comfortable away win for Dortmund against bottom table Darmstadt.

In the dying embers of the match, Werder Bremen avoided defeat in Bochum thanks to a goal in the third minute of stoppage time. Niklas Stark’s strike cancelled out Patrick Osterhage’s opener for Bochum in the 64th minute, leaving the score at 1-1.

The result leaves both teams level on points in the league standings, but Werder Bremen retain their advantage on goal difference.

A ‘3-1’ away defeat against Monchengladbach held Stuttgart back from keeping pace with the top teams in the Bundesliga standings.
