Internacional and Palmeiras took the battle home after getting a draw in the first leg, but they both failed to make home advantage count, as Fluminense and Boca Juniors picked up the needed result from arguably against the run of play.
It has been an all-Brazil final in the Copa Libertadores since 2019 but Boca Juniors stopped another after defeating Palmeiras. We have Argentina vs. Brazil final for the 2023 Copa Libertadres final.
Boca Juniors are looking for their 7th title, and their first since 2007, while Fluminense looks to make history getting their first Copa Libertadores title.
