Marcin Bulka saved a penalty kick from Folarin Balogun in both halves to keep Nice in the game until Jeremie Boga came off the bench in the 64th minute and went on to score a solo goal in the first minute of added time to give Nice a 1-0 win in Monaco. Nice became the first team to defeat Monaco, gaining a point on them in the standings. They did so after defeating Paris St. Germain in the previous round in Paris.
It was a home win for Nantes after coming out on top in an 8-goal game with Lorient. Both teams were looking for their second league win of the season, and it was Nantes who achieved their goal by winning consecutive league games.
Lyon is still without a league win after losing to Brest. Lyon has earned two points out of a possible 18. Brest, on the other hand, earned their fourth victory in six games.
Goals in the first 7 minutes of the game gave newly promoted Le Havre their second league victory of the season, a ‘2-1’ success over Clermont. Clermont remains winless as a result.
After 4 losses in their first 5 league games, Lens have finally found a win. Morgan Guilavogui scored the only goal of the second half in the 84th minute to get Lens their first league win of the season through a 2-1 victory over Toulouse.
Le Classique victory in Paris for Paris.
Paris St. Germain bounced back from their first league defeat of the season (against Nice) with a derby victory. Goncalo Ramos scored twice in the second half after replacing an injured Kylian Mbappe in the 37th minute. Ramos’ goals doubled Paris St. Germain’s first-half lead, which came from Achraf Hakimi and Randal Kolo Muani. Marseille suffer their first league defeat of the season.
