CONMEBOL WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS
Bolivia made it back-to-back wins in the qualifiers by beating Chile on the road, following up their 4-0 win against Venezuela.
Argentina and Brazil both suffered defeats in the round of their World Cup qualifiers. Argentina lost to Colombia, which might be a slight revenge for the Colombians after losing the Copa America final to Argentina about two months ago, while Brazil could not recover from a 1-0 deficit against Paraguay.
Uruguay followed a goalless draw with Paraguay with another goalless draw against Venezuela.
