Spain and Australia got to their in their first semifinal, but Spain was the only one to extend their stay int the final.
Sweden was the last of the nations that had played a World Cup final.
Australia couldn’t stop an all-European final but they become the second host nation that has reached the semifinals (United States did in 1999 and in 2003).
England marches on with confidence, guided tactically by Sarina Wiegman.

Sweden it is a downgrade from their first medal (silver) but Sweden will be going for their third Wrold Cup medal, while Australia will have a great opportunity to pick up their first World Cup medal.
