Paris St. Germain and Sporting CP will advance as the runner-up from their group.

TO THE ROUND OF 16
Manchester City
Paris St. Germain
Liverpool
Ajax
Sporting CP
Real Madrid
Inter Milan
Bayern Munich
Manchester United
Chelsea

Group A
1. Manchester City – 12 points
2. Paris Saint-Germain – 8 points
3. RB Leipzig – 4 points
4. Club Brugge – 4 point

MANCHESTER CITY 2-1 PARIS ST. GERMAIN
Club Brugge 0-5 RB LEIPZIG

Manchester City came from a goal down to win the game against Paris St. Germain and also win the group.

RB Leipzig picked up their first win of the group and advanced Paris St. Germain in the process.

RB Leipzig and Club Brugge will play their final games for points to secure Europa League football.

Group B
1. Liverpool – 15 points
2. Porto – 5 points
3. Atlético Madrid – 4 points
4. Milan – 4 points

ATLETICO MADRID 0-1 AC MILAN
LIVERPOOL 2-0 PORTO

AC Milan got the help they expected from Liverpool, and got the win they desperately needed to stay alive in Group B with a late goal against Atletico Madrid.
Unfortunately for AC Milan, they will have to get a result against Liverpool in the final round to have a show at advancing to the Round of 16.

Atletico Madrid will be playing Porto in the final round. And just like AC Milan did in this round, Porto will be counting on Liverpool in the final round while they make sure that they stop Atletico Madrid from a win.

Group C
1. Ajax – 15 points
2. Sporting CP – 9 points
3. Borussia Dortmund – 6 points
4. Beşiktaş – 0 points

SPORTING CP 3-1 DORTMUND
BESIKTAS 1-2 AJAX

Besiktas failed to get the needed win against Ajax to have a chance at surviving the group and being in continental competition in Europe.

Sporting CP made home advantage count by securing the three points that booked them a place in the final 16.

Group D
1. Real Madrid – 12 points
2. Inter Milan – 10 points
3. Sheriff Tiraspol – 6 points
4. Shakhtar Donetsk – 1 point

FC SHERIFF 0-3 REAL MADRID
INTER MILAN 2-0 SHAKHTAR DONETSK

Edin Dzeko’s brace knocked out Shakhtar Donetsk from the competition while Real Madrid avenged their defeat by knocking out Sheriff.

Group E
1. Bayern Munich – 15 points
2. Barcelona – 7 points
3. Benfica – 5 points
4. Dynamo Kyiv – 1 point

BARCELONA 0-0 BENFICA
DYNAMO KYIV 1-2 BAYERN MUNICH

Barcelona and Benfica were looking for the points to help them advance from Group E with Bayern Munich. Both teams had their chances to win the game but no goal was scored.

Benfica will host Dynamo Kyiv in the final. They will need to beat Dynamo Kyiv to advance from the group. A point is not enough.

Barcelona will be in Munich for point(s) against a Bayern Munich side that is unbeaten in the group. A point from a draw will do for Barcelona if Dynamo Kyiv can do the same in Lisbon (against Benfica).

Group F
1. Manchester United – 10 points
2. Villarreal – 7 points
3. Atalanta – 6 points
4. Young Boys – 4 points

VILLARREAL 0-2 MANCHESTER UNITED
ATALANTA 3-3 YOUNG BOYS

Manchester United win at Villarreal to advance from Group F. The other three teams in the group will have the final day to decide their fate.
Villarreal and Atalanta will be in the contest for second place.

The best Young Boys can get from the group is to fall into the Europa League by winning against Manchester united and hoping that Villarreal is victorious against Atalanta.

Group G
1. Lille – 8 points
2. Salzburg – 7 points
3. Sevilla– 6 points
4. Wolfsburg– 5 points

LILLE 1-0 SALZBURG
SEVILLA 2-0 WOLFSBURG

There is a point interval between the four positions in Group G.
Lille beat Salzburg to take the top spot, while Sevilla beat Wolfsburg to move from the bottom.

Group G is the only group that remains completely ‘undecided’ in the final round.

Group H
1. Chelsea – 12 points
2. Juventus – 12 points
3. Zenit Saint Petersburg – 4 points
4. Malmö FF – 1 point

CHELSEA 4-0 JUVENTUS
MALMO 1-1 ZENIT

Chelsea trashed Juventus to move up to the top of the table in Group H. Another win for Chelsea will make them advance as the group winner.

A late penalty allowed for Zenit to get a point at Malmo.
Malomo sits at the bottom of the group with this point and a goal deficit of 12 in the group. It will take the most improbable scenarios for Zenit not to clinch third place.
