UEFA Treble Winners.

Winning of the domestic league, the primary domestic cup and then going on to win the major title of the Confederation, is what puts a football club in a legendary place in history. The Treble, as it is called, is not the easiest objective to attain. A key requirement for a team that is embarking on winning a Treble is to be just ‘special’.

There are several Treble winners around the world, but the confederation that seems to have the highest level of competition in club football will be the UEFA. Thus making the winning of the Treble in Europe claims the cover story of all major sports news outlets.

How special is the UEFA treble winners group?

Well, only 8 teams have managed to get a Treble season so far. The Dutch league can boast of having two teams in that list and FC Barcelona is the first team to get a double ‘Treble’.
