UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE – SEMI FINALS: AC Milan, Inter Milan, Manchester City, and Real Madrid

The remaining four teams consist of two Italian teams, who have a combined total of 10 titles, one Spanish team with 14 titles, and one English team yet to lift the trophy.

Real Madrid is aiming for their 15th Champions League title, while AC Milan is looking to secure their 8th, Inter Milan their 4th, and Manchester City their first.

Real Madrid, with 14 titles, last lifted the trophy in 2022. Inter Milan, with 3 titles, achieved their last triumph in 2010. AC Milan, with 7 titles, claimed their most recent victory in 2007. Manchester City reached the final in 2021 but has yet to win the tournament.

In a repeat of last season’s semi final, Real Madrid will face Manchester City, with the winner from last year’s encounter eventually becoming the champion. It remains to be seen if history will repeat itself this season. Additionally, we have the Milan Derby in the semifinals, as AC Milan and Inter Milan clash.

AC Milan, second only to Real Madrid in terms of Champions League titles, has been absent from the competition for some time. However, they are now just three games away from claiming their 8th title.

Inter Milan’s most recent Champions League success came during a “treble-winning” season. While that won’t be the case this time around, it allows them to focus more on this tournament.

Real Madrid, on their path to defending the Champions League title, will face several strong contenders. Nonetheless, their past accomplishments demonstrate that they can overcome such challenges. They are now three matches away from securing their 15th Champions League title. Similar to last season, Real Madrid faced Chelsea in the quarterfinals and are now set to meet Manchester City in the semifinals.

Manchester City is determined to defeat Real Madrid and reach their second Champions League final. This time, they aim to emerge as the champions.

The semifinal fixtures are scheduled as follows:

May 9th: Real Madrid vs. Manchester City
May 10th: AC Milan vs. Inter Milan

The second leg matches are scheduled as:

May 16th: Inter Milan vs. AC Milan
May 17th: Manchester City vs. Real Madrid
