Top flight league football in Europe is paused as national teams test out their tactics and improve on their understanding of what team chemistry they can build with the quad at hand.
Apart from the international friendlies, we will have the Euro Qualifier Playoff round to know the complete list of nations that will play in the 2024 Euro. We will also get to know the winners of the CONCACAF Nations League, and see how things stand out in the AFC World Cup qualifiers after four matches of the second round.

There are 12 nations in groups of four, contesting for three tickets to complete the list of 24 needed for the 2024 UEFA European Championship.
Estonia, Finland, Poland, and Wales.
Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Israel, and Ukraine.
Georgia, Greece, Kazakhstan, and Luxembourg.
Half of the nations (6) in the playoff have never qualified for the UEFA European Championship tournament : Bosnia and Herzegovina, Estonia, Georgia, Israel, Kazakhstan, and Luxembourg.
**We will know the 6 nations who will contest for the three tickets on March 21st, and we will know the three teams going to the UEFA Euro 2024 on March 26th, 2024. **
Estonia, Finland, Poland, or Wales will qualify for a spot in Group D (consisting of Netherland, Austria, and France).
Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Israel, or Ukraine will qualify for a spot in Group E (consisting of Belgium, Slovakia, and Romania).
Georgia, Greece, Kazakhstan, or Luxembourg will qualify for a spot in Group F (consisting of Turkey, Portugal, and Czech Republic)
NATIONS LOOKING FOR A RETURN TO THE EURO TOURNAMENT.
๐ฌ๐ท Greece is the only title winner on the list. Champions in 2004 against Portugal in Lisbon but havenโt contested a tournament since the 2012 edition.
๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ Wales broke a World Cup drought of 64 years in 2022, and can make the Euros for the third time in four editions, since making their debut in 2016.
๐ต๐ฑ Poland made their debut in 2008 and havenโt missed a tournament since.
๐บ๐ฆ Ukraine made their debut as a co-host with Poland in 2012 and has featured in every tournament since then.
๐ฎ๐ธ Iceland made their debut in 2016 but havenโt made a return since. That generation of players also qualified for the World Cup in 2018, another debut.
๐ซ๐ฎ Finland has qualified once, in 2020, where they had a group stage finish.

AFC WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS
The AFC World Cup qualifiers as we head into matchday three of the second round of AFC World Cup qualification.
Thirteen nations have recorded no wins, with six of them (Afghanistan, Chinese Taipei, Nepal, Myanmar, Pakistan, and Singapore) yet to earn a point. Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Jordan, Palestine, Philippines, and Turkmenistan are winless but have recorded a point.
Lebanon remains unbeaten despite not securing a win.
There are 12 unbeaten teams, 9 have started the qualifiers with a perfect winning record: Australia, Iraq, Japan, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates, while the other three (Iran, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan)have dropped points in draws.
Two more rounds of the AFC World Cup qualifier will be played this international break.

CONCACAF NATIONS LEAGUE
This is the third edition, and the United States has won the previous two and is still on the hunt to make it three in a row. Firstly, the United States will have to get past Jamaica in the semifinals.
The other semifinal matchup is between Panama and Mexico, two teams that played in a third-place playoff fixture in the previous tournament after losing in the semifinal. Finishing fourth in the previous tournament was Panamaโs best result. Mexicoโs best finish was runner-up against the United States in 2020.
