The FIFA World Cup will return to North America after 32 years and it will be the biggest one ever.  48 teams will have a chance of winning the prestigious trophy.

After winning convincingly by 134 votes compared to 65 for Morocco, Canada, Mexico, and the United States will be playing host as CONCACAF gets a shot to have the FIFA World Cup in their region for the first time since 1994.  With three teams automatically qualifying for the competition as host nations, it is fitting the number if participating teams will be increased from 32 to 48.

United States will host the majority of the 80 matches (60), while Canada and Mexico will evenly share the other 20 matches. The final is scheduled to be at the MetLife Stadium. New Jersey
