For RB Leipzig, defeat could see them fall further away from a top-four finish in the league, and possibly miss out finishing in a position that will qualify them for any European competition.

Fourth-placed Lyon can use a consecutive league victory to pull 2 points away from third-placed Marseille in the league standings. This is a battle for a chance to make it to the UEFA Champions League for next season.
