Maccabi Haifa, Copenhagen, Celtic, Viktoria Plzen, and Rangers are yet to win a game. (Copenhagen and Celtic have a point each).

Real Madrid is the only Spanish La Liga side that is sitting in a position to advance.

On match day one, Tottenham was the only away team not to suffer defeat, while Napoli was the only away team to win their game.

On matchday two, Sevilla was the only home team to suffer a defeat, making Dortmund the only away side to win. Benfica was the other home team not to win their game, they shared the points in a goalless draw with PSG.



The UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE AFTER THE THIRD ROUND

Napoli came from a goal down to thrash Ajax in Amsterdam, while Tottenham and Eintracht Frankfurt shared points in a goalless draw from an evenly contested fixture.

Club Brugge made is 3 wins from 3 with a 2-0 win against Atletico Madrid.
Trent Alexander-Arnold’s freekick and Mohamed Salah’s goal from a penalty allowed Liverpool to a 2-0 win against Rangers.
Leverkusen missed the opportunities they had to lose 2-0 at Porto.

Bayern Munich did the expected by thrashing Viktoria Plzen 5-0, while Inter Milan secured a 1-0 win against Barcelona.

Trincao scoring in the opening minute did not save sporting CP from defeat at Marseille. Sporting CP went 2-1 down before going down a player and a forced substitution when goalkeeper Antionio Adan picked up a red card for the handling of the ball outside of the penalty box.

Despite a couple of goals ruled out by VAR, RB Leipzig got a 3-1 win against Celtic.

Real Madrid got the bigger portion of the three first-half goals to beat Shakhtar Donetsk.
An Erling Haaland brace was the foundation for a 5-0 Manchester City win against Copenhagen.
Dortmund took a 4-0 lead into the break and finished the game as 5-1 winners against Sevilla.

Two goals from Adrien Rabiot and another from Dusan Vlahovic got Juventus their first Champions League win of the season in a 3-1 win against Maccabi Haifa.
Goals from new signings Wesley Fofana and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and another from Reece James got Chelsea their first Champions League win of the season in a 3-0 win against AC Milan.

Liverpool is back in a position to contend for advancement, while Napoli looks unstoppable.

FC Porto 2-0 Leverkusen

Club Brugge is sprinting towards advancement from the group while the other three scramble for points.

Inter Milan 1-0 Barcelona

Viktoria Plzen is doing what many would’ve expected in the group.
The pressure is on Barcelona after a 1-0 defeat in San Siro.

Frankfurt 0-0 Tottenham

Sporting CP’s defeat in Marseille has tightened the race.
Tottenham and Frankfurt got a point to stay level on points but Marseille is now just a point behind the two.

Chelsea 3-0 AC Milan

There is (at most) a point gap between the teams.
Salzburg is top of the group with a 1-0 win against Dinamo Zagreb.
Chelsea equaled AC Milan on points after beating them at Stamford Bridge.

RB Leipzig 3-1 Celtic
Real Madrid 2-1 Shakhtar Donetsk

RB Leipzig won their first in the group at the expense of Celtic.
Reigning champions Real Madrid beat Shakhtar Donetsk to make it three wins from three.

Manchester City 5-0 Copenhagen
Sevilla 1-4 Dortmund

Manchester City and Dortmund added another win to leave Copenhagen and Sevilla without a win. Manchester City were 5-0 winners at home against Copenhagen, while Dortmund took the points from a 4-1 win in Seville.

Juventus beat Maccabi Haifa in Turin to win their first game.
Benfica and Paris St. Germain remain unbeaten in the group by sharing the points in a 1-1 draw.
