Benezema wins it at the death for Real Madrid to stop Elche from getting another point against Real Madrid. Karim Benzema scored a brace to get Real Madrid from a losing situation to a win at home against Elche.

Atletico Madrid dropped two points in a 0-0 draw with Getafe.

Real Sociedad dropped further away from the ‘top 4’ after defeat at Granada.
It was Villarreal’s first league win in 9 games after beating relegation zoned Eibar 3-1.
Form means nothing in a derby. Youssef En-Nesyri scored the only goal of the match to get Sevilla a win in the Seville derby.
