Five more rounds left of the season (for most clubs) and we know the four teams that are going to represent the league in next season’s UEFA Champions League.
It is still up in the air what order they will be sitting at the end of the season.
Atletico Madrid’s healthy lead has been reduced to a dangerous gap.
Barcelona with a game in hand will take the lead in the title race if their outstanding fixture ends in another league victory. A Barcelona win against Granada will put them a point on top of the league table.

Real Sociedad are leading the remaining 14 teams in the league.
Eibar are at the bottom of the pile.

LEADING GOALSCORERS
Lionel Messi (Barcelona) – 25 goals
Karim Benzema (Real Madrid) – 21 goals
Gerard Moreno (Villarreal) – 20 goals
Luis Suarez (Atletico Madrid) – 19 goals

In their relegation battles, Lucas Boye’s goal gave Elche a 1-0 against Levante.
Valladolid and Cadiz shared the points after a 1-1 draw.
Within 5 minutes after John Guidetti opened the scoring for the match to give Alaves the lead in the 84th-minute, his side were reduced to 10-men and conceded an equalizing goal to share the points with Valencia.
Real Madrid were held to a goalless draw at home by Real Betis.

Enes Unal scored a goal in each half for Getafe to get a win that kept Huesca in the relegation zone.
Antoine Griezmann scored a brace to get Barcelona to the lead and to a win at Villarreal.
Celta Vigo won their first in four league games after a 2-1 win against Osasuna. Celta Vigo have now accumulated 1 more point in the league than Osasuna.
Sevilla took a win against Granada to keep up with the pace of the title race.
Athletic Club were 2-1 winners at home against Atletico Madrid.

From the balance of play, Eibar deserved more from the game than a 1-0 home defeat to Real Sociedad. Alexander Isak’s goal made it a consecutive league win for Real Sociedad.
