Real Madrid hit 60 points and kept a 6-point lead in the Spanish La Liga title race.
Sevilla kept the pace with Real Madrid with a Seville derby victory that allowed them to open an 8-point game on Real Betis.
With a game in hand, Barcelona is just a point away from third (Real Betis).
Atletico Madrid is just outside of the Champions League qualifying spot.

Valencia pushing out Osasuna and pushing down Celta Vigo a position was the only positional change to happen in the top half of the league table.

LEVANTE 3- 0 ELCHE: Through a 3-0 win against Elche, Levante picked up their 3rd win of the reason and also went three league games unbeaten.

MALLORCA 0-1 VALENCIA: Gabriel Paulista’s strike in the fourth minute delivered the only goal of the game to get Valencia their first league win in 8 league matches with a victory in Mallorca.

GETAFE 2-2 ALAVES: Enes Unal added two goals to his scoring tally to take his goals in his last 5 league games to 7. His two goals against Alaves were both equalizing goals for a 10-man Getafe to get a point at home.

RAYO VALLECANO 0-1 REAL MADRID: Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema combined to get the only goal of the game in the 83rd minute.

ATLETICO MADRID 2-0 CELTA VIGO: Renan Lodi scored in both halves to grab three points for Atletico Madrid.

SEVILLA 2-1 REAL BETIS (Seville Derby)
Even though their most recent meeting saw Real Betis knock out Sevilla from the Copa del Rey, it’s has been Sevilla on the winning end of the score of their league meetings since 2018. Sevilla extended their success with a 2-1 win.

VILLARREAL 5-1 ESPANYOL
A run of 5 league games without defeat for Villarreal [4 wins]
Yeremi Pino was subbed off in the 75th minute to get his guard of honor from the home supporters. Pino left the field scoring all the goals (4) to set the foundation for Villarreal’s 5-1 win over Espanyol.

A narrow 1-0 win over Osasuna was how Real Sociedad bounced back from the Basque derby defeat, while Athletico Club received a hammering in Camp Nou from Barcelona.

BARCELONA 4-0 ATHLETIC CLUB
Ousmane Dembele came off the bench in the 67th minute and scored Barcelona’s second goal and assisted the final two goals to add to Pierre Emerick Aubameyang’s game-opening goal.
Three wins in a row for Barcelona in all competitions; with two coming in the league. Barcelona has scored four goals in each.
