CONTINENTAL CUP COMPETITIONS

From what we saw in the first leg, the semifinal ties in the Champions League, Europa League, and the Conference League are far from over.

Liverpool’s dominant performance and 2-0 lead against Villarreal is arguably the only tie that resembles a tie that has been decided.

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
SEMIFINAL (SECOND LEG)

Champions League football will stop in Spain before heading to France for the final. It will be up to both Villarreal and Real Madrid to make up the deficit.
Villarreal needs two goals to even score against Liverpool.
Real Madrid only needs a goal to get back in the tie with Manchester City.

May 3.
Villarreal vs Liverpool (0-2)

May 4.
Real Madrid vs Manchester City (3-4)

EUROPA LEAGUE
SEMIFINAL (SECOND LEG)

West Ham and Rangers are a goal away from getting back in a tie.

A draw will do: The German clubs (Frankfurt and Leipzig) are fine with any result that isn’t a defeat.

RB Leipzig will be in Glasgow to defend a 1-0 lead on Rangers.
Frankfurt will have the home advantage to defend a 2-1 lead against West Ham.

May 5.
Frankfurt vs West Ham (2-1)
Rangers vs RB Leipzig (0-1)

CONFERENCE LEAGUE
SEMIFINAL (SECOND LEG)

There is nothing between Roma and Leicester City after a 1-1 draw in Leicester. Whichever side comes out on top in Rome gets to the final.

Feyenoord will go to Marseille with a one-goal lead to protect.

May 5.
Marseille vs Feyenoord (2-3)
Roma vs Leicester City (1-1)
