UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE
SEMIFINALISTS: RB Leipzig vs Rangers / West Ham vs Frankfurt

ATALANTA 0-2 RB LEIPZIG (1-3 agg.)
BARCELONA 2-3 FRANKFURT (3-4 agg.)
LYON 0-3 WEST HAM (1-4 agg.)
RANGERS 3-1 BRAGA [aet.] (3-2 agg).

Goals fom Christopher Nkunku handed RB Leipzig the win to advance to the semifinal from Bergamo.

There wasn’t a home advantage for Barcelona.
Frankfurt fans made Camp Nou feel like an ‘away ground’ for Barcelona.
Two goals in a 9-minute injury time allowed Barcelona to bow out of the Europa League with a respectable 3-2 defeat to Frankfurt.
It wasn’t what many would’ve predicted but it is Frankfurt who will be making their way to the Europa League semifinal.

Just like Barcelona, Lyon didn’t have the best night at home. West Ham scored three goals around the mid-point of the regulation time to knock Lyon out of the tournament.

James Tavernier scored to give Rangers an early lead (2nd minute) and another right before the closing of the first half (44th minute) but a 10-man Braga side fought back to push for the extra time through a goal from David Carmo in the 83rd minute. Kemar Roofe scored the deciding goal in the first half of extra time (101st minute) to get Rangers to the semifinal.
It helped a bit when the lack of discipline saw Iuri Medeiros get shown a red card in to leave Braga chasing a goal in the second half of extra time with 9 men.

Nicolo Zaniolo added a hattrick to Tammy Abraham’s game-opening goal to get Roma their first win against Bodo/Glimt after three attempts.

They both got three goals each in the first leg but it was Feyenoord who was able to repeat the result in the second leg. A brace from Cyriel Dessers handed Feyenoord a semifinal spot at Slavia Prague’s expense.
