Inter Milan’s victory in Turin means their game in hand will put them a point away from the top of the league if they are to win.

Lazio followed up their defeat in the Rome derby with a win against Sassuolo

Cagliari lose 4 games in a row after Beto’s hattrick helped Udinese to a 5-1 win.

Giovanni Simeone’s goal in the 5th minute was enough to get Hellas Verona a 1-0 win against relegation-threatened Genoa.

Andrea Belotti’s goal from the penalty spot in the 18th minute survived the rest of the match to get Torino a road win against Salernitana.

Hakan Calhanoglu’s second attempt at a penalty awarded in the final minutes of the first half sealed a Derby d’Italia win for Inter Milan.
The pressure was on Inter to win this game to get back in the title race.
