AC Milan gets an additional point to their lead.
None of the teams in the ‘top four’ found a win over the round but Inter Milan was the only one to suffer defeat.

Points were dropped by the Milan clubs (AC Milan and Inter Milan), the Turin clubs (Juventus and Torino), and the Rome clubs (Roma and Lazio).

AC Milan dropped points (away) against bottom tabled #Salernitana but Inter Milan did ‘better’ by losing at home to Sassuolo. Juventus and Torino shared the points in the Turin derby, Roma avoided defeat at home to Hellas Verona, while Lazio did the same away against Udinese.

Juventus went 12 league games unbeaten after a Turin derby draw.
Torino extended their winless run in the Turin derby but it always feels like a win when it’s not a defeat to Juventus.
Andrea Belotti scored in the 62nd minute to cancel the lead Matthijs de Ligt had given Juventus in the 13th minute.

AC Milan stayed top of the league despite not fully taking their chances against the team at the bottom.

Fabio Quagliarella’s two goals got Sampdoria a victory that also extend Empoli’s winless run in the league to nine matches.

Three draws in a row for Roma in the league. Roma recovered from two goals down to get a point at home against Hellas Verona.

Fiorentina completed a league double to extend Atalanta’s winless run in the league to five matches[2 defeats, 3 draws] after Krzysztof Piatek scored the only goal of the game in the 56th minute to get Fiorentina {another} victory against Atalanta after knocking them out of the Coppa Italia 10 days earlier.

INTER MILAN 0-2 SASSUOLO: Inter Milan followed a Champions League defeat with a league defeat to go three league matches without a win for the reigning champions.

Felipe Anderson scored right before the halftime break to get Lazio a point from a 1-1 draw with Udinese.

Napoli failed to get the win needed in Cagliari to equal points with AC Milan at the top of the standings. In the end, the best they could do was come from a goal down to get a point.

Marko Anrnuatovic scored the two goals to get Bologna from a goal down to a win at home over Spezia.
