Nine rounds in the Italian Serie A title race and there isn’t a team with a clear advantage.
The occupants of the top four stayed as they were from the start of the round but the top two equaled points while the gap between the bottom two grew by a point.
AC Milan used a win at Bologna to equal points at the top with a Napoli side that couldn’t get a win at Rome against Roma.
Points were split in the Derby d’Italia but Inter Milan stayed put in 3rd while Juventus made a move up to 6th.
Defeat to Hellas Verona dropped Lazio down three positions to 8th.
Atalanta moved up a position to 5th.


Salernitana, Cagliari, and Genoa stayed put in the relegation zone after all three were on the wrong end of the scoreline.

AC MILAN 3-2 HELLAS VERONA
An own goal completed the comeback for AC Milan to seal the three points at the San Siro.
While Inter Milan’s unbeaten run came to an end, AC Milan came from two goals down to beat Hellas Verona and extend their unbeaten start to the season. Hellas Verona took a two-goal lead to the break

TORINO 3- 2 GENOA
Josip Bretado’s goal ended up being the goal that gave Torino the result to bounce back from consecutive defeats.

SAMPDORIA 2- 1 SPEZIA
Spezia halved the deficit in the final minute as Sampdoria went on to double their wins.

SALERNITANA 2-4 EMPOLI
Salernitana halved the deficit in the second half but it was Empoli that used a four-goal lead in the opening half to win their fourth match of the season.

BOLOGNA 2-4 AC MILAN
It was against a numerically disadvantaged Bologna but AC Milan added another victory to remain unbeaten.
Adama Soumaoro was red-carded in the 20th minute and Roberto Soriano in the 58th minute.
A 9-man Bologna conceded two goals in the final minutes to lose the match after a 10-man team had fought back to cancel a two-goal first-half deficit.

ATALANTA 1-1 UDINESE
Udinese third draw in a row after an equalizing goal that came deep into the additional minutes.

HELLAS VERONA 4-1 LAZIO
Giovanni Simeone scored all of Hellas Verona’s goals to get his side a victory to make up for last round-s defeat against AC Milan.

INTER MILAN 1-1 JUVENTUS
A soft penalty was awarded to Juventus in the dying minutes for Paulo Dybala to convert into the equalizing goal that allowed Juventus to extend their unbeaten run in the league to six matches.
Inter Milan thought they had the goal to get them back to a win after their unbeaten run in the league came to an end against Lazio in the last round.
Paulo Dybala scored in the 89th minute to cancel a lead Inter Milan had for almost 72 minutes.
