Federico Fazio leveled for Salernitana towards the end of the first half, and Antonio Candreva scored in the 63rd minute to give them the lead in the second half. Despite remaining at the bottom of the league table with only one win, Salernitana denied AC Milan three points.

Dusan Vlahovic secured the winning goal in the 81st minute, restoring the lead for Juventus after Jamie Baez had equalized for Frosinone with his goal in the 51st minute, canceling out the lead given by 18-year-old debutant Kenan Yildiz in the 12th minute.

After a home defeat and exit from the Coppa Italia against Frosinone, Napoli suffered another defeat in Rome against a Roma side seeking to recover from a ‘2-0’ loss in Bologna in the previous round. Roma secured the result to boost their morale, dealing another blow to Napoli’s title defense with a ‘2-0’ victory.
