2018/19 UEFA Awards

The UEFA Awards were handed out in Monaco for the 2018/19 Champions League season.
Virgil van Dijk picked up the “Player of the Year” award alongside the “Defender of the Year” award, while his Liverpool team mate Allison Becker picked up the “Goalkeeper of the Year” award.

Lionel Messi was the “Forward of the Year” while his new teammateFrenkie de Jong was the “Midfielder of the Year”.

The “Women’s player of the Year” went to Lyon’s Lucy Bronze.
