With 5 rounds left of the German Bundesliga season, Borussia Dortmund takes the lead in the title race. Their advantage is just a point.
Borussia Dortmund moved up to the top of the table after a 4-0 win over Frankfurt, while Bayern Munich dropped to second after a 3-1 defeat in Mainz.
Freiburg moved to 4th with a win that kept Shaclke in the relegaion zone.
RB Leipzig dropped a position to 5th after getting beaten by Leverkusen.
Leverkusen is now 4 points from 5th place.
Mainz moved up a position to 7th with their victory over Bayern Munich. Wolfsburg did the same(to 8th) with their victory at Bochum.
Frankfurt fell two positions down to 9th.

Several exciting games and a significant shakeup in the Bundesliga league standings.

Augsburg and Stuttgart played out a 1-1 draw. The result had no impact on the league standings as both teams remained in their respective positions.

Hertha Berlin suffered a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Werder Bremen. The loss meant that Hertha Berlin remained at the bottom of the league table, while Werder Bremen moved up to 12th place.

Mainz secured a crucial 3-1 win over Bayern Munich, which saw them move up to 7th place in the league standings. Bayern Munich, on the other hand, remained in second place, but their lead over Borussia Dortmund was reduced to just one point.

FC Köln defeated Hoffenheim 3-1 and moved up to 11th place in the league standings. Hoffenheim remained in 13th place.

Wolfsburg secured a comprehensive 5-1 win over Bochum, which saw them move up to 8th place in the league standings. Bochum remained in 15th place.

Borussia Dortmund secured an impressive 4-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, which saw them overtake Bayern Munich at the top of the league standings. Eintracht Frankfurt remained in 9th place.

Freiburg secured a comfortable 4-0 victory over Schalke and moved up to 4th place in the league standings. Schalke remained at the bottom of the league table.

Bayer Leverkusen defeated RB Leipzig 2-0 and moved up to 6th place in the league standings. RB Leipzig remained in 5th place.

Union Berlin secured a 1-0 victory over Borussia Mönchengladbach and moved up to 3rd place in the league standings. Borussia Mönchengladbach remained in 10th place.
