Despite Manchester City’s absence, Arsenal could only add a point to their lead.
Newcastle United moved up a position to 3rd after trashing Tottenham by 6 goals to 1.
Manchester United dropped to 4th; on equal points with a game in hand over Newcastle United.

Arsenal and Southampton drew 3-3. Southampton got off to a flying start with Carlos Alcaraz scoring in the first minute, followed by Theo Walcott’s goal in the 14th minute. However, Arsenal fought back with Gabriel Martinelli scoring in the 20th minute. Duje Caleta Car scored for Southampton in the 66th minute, but Arsenal scored two late goals through Martin Odegaard in the 88th minute and Bukayo Saka in stoppage time to salvage a point.

Fulham defeated Leeds United 2-1. Harry Wilson and Andreas Pereira scored for Fulham in the 58th and 72nd minutes respectively, while Joao Palhinha scored an own goal for Leeds United in the 79th minute.

Brentford and Aston Villa played out a 1-1 draw, with Ivan Toney scoring for Brentford in the 65th minute and Douglas Luiz equalizing for Aston Villa in the 87th minute.

Crystal Palace and Everton played out a goalless draw, with neither team managing to find the back of the net.

Leicester City defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1, with Kelechi Iheanacho scoring a penalty in the 37th minute and Timothy Castagne scoring in the 75th minute. Matheus Cunha scored for Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 13th minute.

Liverpool defeated Nottingham Forest 3-2, with Diogo Jota scoring twice in the 47th and 55th minutes, and Mohamed Salah adding a third in the 70th minute. Neco Williams and Morgan Gibbs-White scored for Nottingham Forest in the 51st and 67th minutes respectively.

West Ham United thrashed Bournemouth 4-0, with Michail Antonio, Lucas Paqueta, Declan Rice, and Pablo Fornals all finding the back of the net.

In the final match of the round, Newcastle United demolished Tottenham Hotspur 6-1. Jacob Murphy scored twice in the 2nd and 9th minutes, followed by goals from Joelinton in the 6th minute, Alexander Isak in the 19th and 21st minutes, and Callum Wilson in the 67th minute. Harry Kane scored the only goal for Tottenham Hotspur in the 49th minute.
