Bochum moved 5 points away from FC Koln.

Mergim Berisha scored the first of his two goals in the 3rd minute of the match to give Augsburg an early lead but Bayern Munich was too strong to be denied a win at home. Benjamin Parvard scored two goals in the first half as Bayern Munich ended the opening half with a 4-1 lead. It ended 5-3 win for Bayern Munich to remain in charge of the title race.

Mainz came from a goal down to avoid defeat at Berlin, but their winning run in the league comes to an end at 4 matches.

Alassane Plea missed the opportunity to give Monchengladbach a lead when his penalty was saved in the 53rd minute. It came at a cost, Timo Werner scored the opening goal of the match in the 57th minute for RB Leipzig to go on and pick up a 3-0 home win against Monchengladbach.

Schalke came from a goal down on two occasions to stay unbeaten for 7 straight league games while ending Dortmund’s 100% winning streak in the league this calendar year. Dortmund’s 100% winning streak in all competitions since the start of the year was snapped in their midweek defeat in the Champions League against Chelsea. It has now been snapped in the league by Schalke in the Revierderby.

Ritsu Doan’s 89th-minute goal secured three points for Freiburg against a 10-man Hoffenheim.

It’s four league games without a win for Union Berlin after dropping points in a 1-1 draw at Wolfsburg.
