Bayern Munich was without a win in their last four matches and it took them over an hour to get the winning goal to take full advantage of Dortmund’s slip at Bochum.

The top of the table has changed, with Bayern Munich reclaiming the top spot after a win over Hertha Berlin, as Dortmund failed to find the winning goal in the round’s opening match against Bochum.
Union Berlin dropped points in a goalless draw with Leverkusen, allowing Freiburg to draw level with them after a narrow victory in Cologne.
RB Leipzig remained two points outside of a Champions League qualifying spot with a win over Hoffenheim.
Wolfsburg swapped positions with Mainz.
Stuttgart moved up to 15th position after beating Monchengladbach, while Bochum fell to 16th.
Schalke helped their relegation battle with a valuable win against Werder Bremen.

Bochum followed a 5-1 home defeat to Wolfsburg with a ‘1-1’ home draw against Dortmund.
All of the scoring occurred in the first seven minutes of the game, with Bochum and Dortmund splitting the points. Dortmund was looking for a win to help them win the league title at the end of the season, while Bochum was hoping for something to help them move away from the relegation zone. It felt like a win for Bochum.

Freiburg won its third league game in a row thanks to Ritsu Doan’s goal in Cologne.

Frankfurt went 9 league games without a win(4 defeats) after following a 4-0 hammering at Dortmund with a draw at home to Augsburg.
Augsburg is unbeaten in the league in their last seven games (3 defeats) after a ‘1-1’ draw against Stuttgart was followed by another against Frankfurt.

Julian Weigl equalized for Monchengladbach after a ball was handled in the box, but it only lasted about 5 minutes. A rash tackle in the box earned Stuttgart a penalty, which Tanguy Coulibaly converted in the 83rd minute to restore the lead given to Stuttgart by Sehrou Guirassy in the 22nd minute.
Monchengladbach suffered back-to-back defeats, while Stuttgart won to remain unbeaten in their last four league games (2 wins).

Christopher Nkunku’s goal separated RB Leipzig and Hoffenheim.
RB Leipzig followed up a defeat at Leverkusen with a win over Hoffenheim.

Schalke came back from a goal down to beat Werder Bremen ‘2-1’ thanks to a goal from Dominick Drexler in the second minute of added time.

It took over an hour for Bayern Munich to find the goal that allowed them to take full advantage of Dortmund’s failure at Bochum. Serge Gnabry scored the winning goal in the 69th minute, and Kingsley Coman ensured the three points 10 minutes later. Bayern Munich did what was expected to reclaim top spot in the league by beating bottom-tabled Hertha Berlin.

Mainz followed a 3-1 win over Bayern Munich with a 3-0 defeat to Wolfsburg.
